Thanks for visiting!
Our mission is simple; we help low income families repair their homes while providing on the job training and educational assistance for our apprentices. We have helped over 20 low income families repair their homes, with payment for services based on their income. While improving the homes of disadvantaged individuals has been our main focus, our underlying intent has been to also improve the lives of individuals who have yet to complete their General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) through our program. We believe that with a diploma, carpentry certification, job shadowing opportunities and job placement assistance, we can improve the lives of our apprentices. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for low-income residents/families through low cost, high-quality home renovations while providing skill-specific training in construction and education assistance to young individuals seeking their high school diploma.
The advantage for homeowners, landlords and disadvantage families facing anti-blight laws is that our service will provide free or low cost labor for low income residents desiring to remodel their homes or buildings.  As a result, we provide on the job training for our apprentices and beautify the neighborhood, while at the same time potentially saving the homeowners thousands of dollars in labor costs.  Since there are currently only limited free  services available for low income homeowners or renters to renovate their properties, we believe that they can benefit from our program.  There are many houses in the Windham and New London County areas of Connecticut that suffer from flood, termite damage or general  deterioration that are in almost unlivable condition but are occupied due to the residents’ income situations. We are dedicated to improving neighborhoods and the individuals in these communities.

If you would love to support our cause, please make all donations payable to the Christian Life Assembly FBO the Neighborhood Renovations Training Program Inc.
